The Vintage Aviator Guided Hangar Tours
Easter Weekend 2017: We will be open for guided tours from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, 15 April through Monday, 17 Apri.
Informative guided tours bring the history of each aircraft to life. From wood and fabric construction, ‘spinning’ rotary engines and the world’s first synchronised machine guns, the era’s technical and aerodynamic advancements will astound. The Vintage Aviator’s flying collection of up to 20 different aircraft types is available for public viewing on weekends throughout the operational season (November- April).
Guided tours recall the courage of airmen flying in open cockpits and freezing conditions, without parachutes, radios or heaters! With a focus on the great flying aces, aircraft designers and innovators of WWI, guided tours will appeal to visitors of all ages.
